Post 9: Changes to my study program

I'm a sociology student, i think there are many changes that can be implemented on the study program of my career to improve it according with the necessities of the student community. For example At the the first semester we have courses like anthropology and sociology, those are introductory courses with no much content, i think that courses can be improved and i think I've listen that they changed in the last year, i don't know how are they now because i did this courses four years ago.
Another think that i consider important is working on produce information, we have a lot of courses to talk about the processing of information, about statistic techniques and how to treat the information, but no so much of them teach about how get this information, about techniques to obtain the information from the people.
About the facilities, there are so much to improve at Facso and the Campus Juan Gomez Millas in general.   Here we have a lack of classrooms. A lot of times we have classes in small classrooms without fresh air and with a heat environment. For example the case of the aulario's classrooms, in those place if you turn on the air conditioner the half of the students shouldn't be able to listen the class.
About the studies length and the workload i think that could be improved to take the most of the studies time, there are some courses or subjects that demands a lot and for my opinion there aren't so important as another courses that don't demands a lot.

Post 8: Personal opinion

What is your opinion about recycling?
I think that recycling it's a fundamental topic to talk nowadays, because the human being is producing huge amounts of garbage. A lot of this garbage is not  biodegradable or it takes a long time to disintegrate and this is destroying our planet and its biodiversity in a irreversible way. I think that the governments have to rule more consciously about this topic to protect the environment for the coming generations.

What is your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?
I think that the abortion would be permitted in any circumstance, no just in some cases. The prohibition of the abortion is based principally in religious ways to see the world that have been having influence in our legal systems. This ideas prohibit the women's to decide about her body's and this produce a illegal abortions that also produces a lots of deaths and diseases for who doesn't have the money an the contacts to abort.

What is your opinion about legalizing marijuana?
I think that the marijuana should be legal because this plant have a lot of potential uses. It can be used as a medicine for several diseases and disorders like the glaucoma, epilepsy, insomnia, autism. etc.
Also it can be used to create a lot of useful products, like paper, ropes, clothes etc. The prohibition affect the medicinal and recreational users, and generate a black market with high prices.

What is your opinion about tatoos?
I really like tatoos since i was a little children but i don't have one yet because i cant decide a what i want. I get confused about this because i think in tatoos like something for all the life. Also i don't like the pain and the needles so i think in get inked like a painful situation. I like the tribal designs and the realistic animals, but i also like the tatoos with deep meanings.

Post 7: Someone I'd like to meet

When I think in a kind of unreachable person that i would like to meet, a lot of people come to my head, but if i have to choose just one, i think it would be Fela Kuti. He is already dead but he stills alive in his music.
He was a Nigerian Jazz Musician who played a music style called afrobeat, this style it's a mix of jazz, funk and african rythms. His music is charged with political content, he always included in their songs slogans supporting assorted social fights, principally realted with the human rights and the liberation of opressed nations.
Fela was an excellent musician but he not had a big fame because he used to play non-comercial kind of music. For example, his songs have a duration of fifteen minutes at least and some times used a kind of singing based on questions and answers. In addition he also used to sing in different Nigerian languages, principally in Yoruba. He changed this and started to sing in english, principally for the difusion of his political and social consigns.
I really admire him because he always stayed strong with his ideas, he bear a lot of political and police repression, he was incarcerated many times just for play music.
I really appreciate the power of his music too, the rythms, the political and social consigns, the long durations songs and principally the african tribal style of it.   

Post 6 : Postgraduate studies

After finishing my career i really want to continue studying, specifically a postgraduate. I think that a postgraduates help's a lot to have more stability at work. If you want to find a job a postgraduates i'ts a relevant extra for the employer to choose between different candidates. Also, i think it's a great opportunity to learn and go in depth in the studies of subjects of personal interest, and that help to continue working in those themes. In my case these themes are related with the sociology and it's relation with the environment.
I would like to continue my studies abroad, because i really like to travel to another countries and know new places, traditions, people etc. Also, i consider to study abroad because the prestige of some universities with the themes of my interest.
I'm just idealizing this situation, because go to another country to study demand a lot of economical resources that i don't have in this moment, for this my option it's to postulate to a scholarship.
Another possibly obstacle to study abroad it's the language, because the most of prestigious universities are in countries of non-Hispanic talking. For this i consider very important to learn English, because you can speak it in a lot of countries, specially in Europe.
About the methodology of the postgraduate, i prefer a part time course, specially abroad, because it's gives to you opportunities to travel and visit new places.   

Post 5: My future job.

One of the things because i like sociology as a career it's because its gives to you a chance of work around themes that you're interested in. In my case i really like the environmental and social issues, so i pretend to work in something related with this. Also i really like to travel, so i think the environmental issues  give this chance too, even if its don't a very long travel, for me it's nice to have the opportunity to visit natural areas and investigate what's its happening there. The raise of information to investigate includes different techniques with people, specially if the works its through qualitative way, so it's not an office job, i really appreciate this because i don't like too static works.
In the other hand, it's the data and information processing this is a 100% an office job. I think there it's an equilibrium of different kinds of works to do and i like it.
Before studying sociology i have studied law for 2 and a half years, i dropped it because i really don't like the work to do like a lawyer, there i realize that i hate the formal and bureaucratic procedures, the papers, writings, documents... etc.  Also i dislike the non office job of the lawyers, to litigate.

I have a group of 2 friends, 3 with me, we are something like best friends. We know each other at pre kinder in our school, principally because we have a lot of intereset in common. The principal when we met was the fascination about dinosaurs

I dont watch TV at all, but i really like to watch series on the internet. Since i have fiftteen years old i have been watching a lot of TV series of many kinds: animes, drama, thrillers,etc. so it's very difficult to choose just one, but if i have to stand out one of them, it would be the Dragon Ball saga.
This Tv show it's about  Goku and his adventures. He is a hero of the sayayin race, who arrives to the earth comming from the Vegito planet. He was sended in a spacial capsule to save him when the planets was exploding because and atack of Freezer, one of the antagonistics of the show
This Tv show, was realeased in 1986 with Dragon Ball, here, we enjoy the adventures of Goku when he was a really little boy and has to save the world for fisrt time.
In 1989 was released the second part of the saga, Dragon ball Z, in wich one Goku is an adult man and saves the world another few times, and the complete universe one time.
The third saga comes to air in 2015, it was the revive of the show after many years. Here we  see Goku saving the universe another time and also the dimension of the reality in his storytimeline. It sounds so crazy but this is what the show i
s. It have a lot of drama, comedia, exageration, fantasy, naughtiness and probably so much more.
